ACE announces leadership transition shaping digital construction, engineering consultancy, and UK infrastructure delivery priorities nationwide.
The Association for Consultancy and Engineering confirmed Milda Manomaityte as Chief Executive Officer effective 2 March 2026, succeeding Kate Jennings after two years leading organisational reform and government engagement supporting infrastructure and digital construction delivery across Britain.
Jennings said, “It has been a pleasure to lead ACE Group through such an important period, with members acting as strategic partners for government and infrastructure clients delivering Industrial and Infrastructure Strategies.”
She added that new leadership will champion infrastructure professionals while collaborating with government on long-term digital construction investment and consultancy opportunities supporting economic development.
Trusted voice
Manomaityte joins from the Railway Industry Association, where she served as Innovation Director and Chief Operating Officer, leading programmes accelerating innovation adoption, member engagement, and operational resilience across transport and construction supply chains.
Commenting on her appointment, she said, “I am delighted to join ACE Group and deliver the three-year business plan while ensuring the organisation remains a trusted voice shaping future infrastructure delivery.”
Her earlier role founding the Global AirRail Alliance strengthened collaboration between aviation and rail stakeholders advancing integrated transport infrastructure planning aligned with digital construction objectives.
Continuity
ACE stated continuity between outgoing and incoming leaders will support members navigating policy reform, infrastructure investment programmes, and digital construction adoption shaping engineering consultancy growth.
Industry observers note that strong representation for consultancy and engineering firms remains essential as government advances procurement reform and infrastructure delivery frameworks dependent on digital capability.
Engagement priorities
Members expect ACE leadership to expand guidance on digital construction standards, building information modelling integration, and data-driven infrastructure delivery supporting consultants working across transport, energy, and regional development programmes.
This agenda also prioritises skills development, collaboration with technology providers, and engagement with clients adopting modern methods of construction and digital asset management improving lifecycle performance nationwide for public and private infrastructure owners seeking measurable project outcomes consistently across complex programmes supporting economic resilience and long-term community value creation goals globally.
Manomaityte’s leadership positions ACE to strengthen digital construction partnerships, influence UK infrastructure policy, and support consultancy members delivering sustainable, technology-enabled infrastructure outcomes nationwide together for future prosperity.
