A Scotland-based research project has received £10m in industry and government funding to create a ‘digital twin’ of future multi-vector energy networks.

Using its proprietary digital twin technology, IES carried out modelling of three social housing blocks located on Lower Dominick Street, Dublin.

UK-based builders merchant Travis Perkins has unveiled its new WholeHouse platform, which it says is “a first” for the sector.

The awards highlights the companies, technologies and projects delivering a greener, smarter and safer built environment.

The tools have been designed to make it easier for AEC professionals to produce technical documents like BIM execution plans or contract agreements.

If the built environment industry is to deliver on its net zero promise, there must be open access and sharing of decarbonisation data.
