Bond Bryan Digital, a Bryan Architects Limited brand, has entered into a joint venture with Ireland-based construction management software company BuildData Group AB.
The news follows the announcement that Bond Bryan Digital has officially become a new limited company: Bond Bryan Digital Limited.
The new firm will become ‘a BuildData Group company’ – joining the ranks of current brands Zutec, Createmaster, and Resi-Sense.
Bond Bryan Digital was setup in 2016 to offer information management, clash detection, and BIM consultancy services.
“Bond Bryan Digital have become well known for our leading edge consultancy in the UK which supports clients to define their information requirements as well as delivering high-quality information for handover,” said Bond Bryan Digital in a social media announcement last week.
“This venture offers the opportunity for the consultancy to both support the aspirations of BuildData as a group but also allow Bond Bryan Digital to grow and improve its quality offering further by working with the other brands in the group.”
According to their website, the Build Data Group specialise in acquiring and nurturing companies that use building lifecycle data to drive efficiency and growth.
Gustave Geisendorf, CEO of BuildData, commented: “The acquisition of Bond Bryan Digital adds to our presence in the UK market. With the addition of this team and platform, we have further capabilities to serve the full project lifecycle of our customers.
“The increasing amount of regulations in the UK means there is increasing demand for structured data and this acquisition sets us up well to capture our fair share of this fast-growing segment of the market.
“Bond Bryan Digital is well known in the market for delivering best-in-class structured data, including COBie. We are pleased to welcome Rob Jackson and Emma Hooper and the rest of their team to BuildData.”
