The UK BIM Alliance has welcomed Dalux as its latest Gold Patron and newest member of the UK BIM Alliance Technology Group, a specialist interest group comprising software, hardware and technology organisations.

Dr Anne Kemp, Chair UK BIM Alliance, said: “We welcome Dalux as a Patron of the Alliance.  Both the Alliance and Dalux have goals in making the built environment the best it can be through digitalisation.  We look forward to working with and building a relationship with Dalux and thank them for their support and involvement within the Alliance.”

Dalux’s user-friendly digital tools and BIM technology (3D information models) are currently used by leading contractors, builders and advisors in 125 countries. The company works to shift the limits of how technology can ensure smarter and more sustainable work processes in the construction industry.

The company is continuously optimising existing technology and developing new groundbreaking solutions and in recent years has launched the world’s fastest mobile BIM viewer and BIM-based Augmented Reality for mobile phones.

Torben Dalgaard, CEO Dalux, said: “Dalux are very proud to be a Patron of the UK BIM Alliance. It is extremely valuable to be part of a network with such expertise and gravitas in our industry and we look forward, particularly to contributing to the Alliance’s Technology Group. At Dalux, we are committed to continuous cutting-edge development of our software which exceeds the needs and expectations of the construction industry; this ethos, along with the guidance and knowledge of the UK BIM Alliance will help us make this a reality.”

The UK BIM Alliance aims to ensure BIM becomes business as usual for the built environment sector whilst at the same time, transforming and future proofing the way the industry works.
