Powered by enterprise automation platform, Workato, PlanRadar Connect is set to improve the way technology solutions tie together, allowing users to synch seamlessly with other applications, without the need for complex coding.
PlanRadar hopes the new solution will help save time, improve work rate and accuracy whilst avoiding performance- damaging data silos.
A recent, $69m (£50.6m) Series B funding round is also set to boost the company’s R&D capabilities, helping to fund a new tech hub and dedicated product innovation team.
Ibrahim Imam, PlanRadar co-founder and co-CEO, said: “As the construction industry continues to evolve within the digital age, finding effective ways to automate work processes has become crucial to improving project delivery and business performance. This has been the catalyst for PlanRadar Connect.
“We want to enhance interoperability, removing the barriers of incompatibility that come with using multiple tech systems, creating inconsistencies in data and adding extra work through process duplication.
“By creating an easy way to interlace with the existing technology, companies can work smarter and achieve a greater levels of accuracy when it comes to harnessing data.”
The new functionality will add upon the software’s existing API (Application Programming Interface), making it faster and easier to integrate with 200+ pre-built connectors, such as Outlook, Dropbox, Jira, SAP and Microsoft Dynamics.
Gautham Viswanathan, chief product officer at Workato, said: “PlanRadar Connect is a great example of Workato’s low-code/no-code platform empowering everyone to easily create custom automations to move critical project information and tasks between PlanRadar and over 200 other critical business apps.”
A Build in Digital stakeholder, PlanRadar is a platform and device-independent, cloud-based solution that helps construction and real estate teams to increase quality, cut project costs and realise work faster.
