Plexus Innovation has grown its team again with the appointment of a new key account manager to assist in the delivery of its ambitious commercial strategy.

Joining the team is Anneka Johnson who, as well as bringing with her a number of years’ experience in key account roles for large manufacturers and equipment companies dealing with clients, customers and high street merchants, is also an avid drummer playing in a number of bands.

The 33-year-old, who is originally from Bristol but now lives in North Shields, boasts companies including Vaillant and Lavazza on her CV, but is now delighted to join this innovative company during an exciting period of strategic rapid growth.

She said: “Over the years I have developed skills in several different industries and have recognised my strengths as being able to build good relationships, create repeat business and re-enforcing a brand and it’s principals.

“Plexus Innovation appealed to me as GUARDIAN has a bright future making big changes in the way organisations can significantly improve their business operations whilst reducing risks, costs, waste and environmental impact.

“Its different applications mean it is more agile than similar products, and can do so much more, for many more industries.”

Ian Murray, managing director of a rapidly increasing Plexus Innovation team, is focused on growing the company to ensure that as many organisations as possible can benefit from GUARDIAN’s IoT remote technology.

GUARDIAN function includes measurement of temperature, CO2, humidity and water system monitoring and control, enabling insight driven decisions, reliable compliance reporting and alerting to health risks or failing assets that otherwise may not be known about.

Commenting about Anneka joining the team, Ian said: “Anneka demonstrated a real talent in combining practical and inter-personal skills. She will be a great addition the team, our existing clients and potential new clients.

“I’m sure that Anneka will develop long term relationships with her clients, enabling them to gain high quality service and maximise benefit from GUARDIAN technology.

“In turn this will help us grow the reputation of the brand and product and increase opportunity of new business development. I’m excited to start seeing the results from our new team structure.”

Anneka, who is also a keen baker and makes family and friends birthday and wedding cakes, and enjoys keeping fit, concluded: “This is a crucial time in Plexus Innovation’s growth, so is a really exciting time to join.

“I feel I can make more of an impact at this stage in the journey than in the large corporates I have worked for, and anticipate the role being more rewarding, with more opportunity and personal satisfaction.”
