Tilbury Douglas appoints new head of BIM to drive digital innovation

UK building, infrastructure, engineering and fit out business, Tilbury Douglas, has appointed William Barry as head of Building Information Modelling (BIM) to help deliver key changes in digital innovation and implementation across project delivery.

With more than a decade of experience within the construction industry, William has a diverse background in mechanical & electrical (M&E) installation, project management and architectural technology.

Most recently working as a Senior Digital Engineer at Tilbury Douglas, William has redefined and restructured the business’s digital delivery approach, the company said in a press release.

Aneesa Mulla, head of digital at Tilbury Douglas, said: “In his new role, William will focus on how best to implement new technologies and trends to help with the delivery of projects.

“This will also include our approach to digital twins and maintaining the golden thread in line with our digital strategy.”
