Advanté, the UK-based manufacturer of the Oasis ‘instant start’ self-contained welfare units, has been announced as the Global Silver Winner for Innovation at the Green Apple World Awards 2023.

Organised by the Green Organisation, an independent, international not-for-profit environmental membership group, the Green World Awards are designed to recognise, reward, and promote environmental best practice around the world.

Advanté won the accolade for its EcoLogic Solar range, against competition from more than 500 other nominations.

As a result of winning the award, Advanté will be included in The Green Book, an international work of reference on best practice.

Mandy Messenger, managing director of Advanté, said: “We are delighted to be recognised internationally by the Green World Awards for a product we introduced to support our clients’ ESG (Environmental Social Governance) targets and sustainable goals.

“This amazing innovation has led to an impressive 95.2% of electricity (on average) delivered through renewable energy, plus reduced running cost, lower community impact, and cleaner air.”

Advante’s EcoLogic Solar welfare units are completely self-contained, static cabins powered by solar hybrid technology, which can generate renewable electrical power supply all-year-round.

Each welfare unit provides a site with office and/or canteen facilities, a 24/7 drying room (silent heating overnight), and two toilets.
