Dublin-based consultancy Will Rudd has appointed civil engineer Kevin Donlon to its Irish team, adding specialist flood defence and water infrastructure experience.
Donlon joins from another consultancy, bringing a background in hydraulic modelling and water engineering. He has worked with local authorities and national bodies on major flood defence schemes across Ireland, experience the firm said would support its expanding workload in Ireland and the wider UK business.
He holds a Masters in Civil Engineering from the University of Galway, having previously studied at the University of Limerick.
Will Rudd’s Irish team is currently working on a range of projects, including public housing developments, commercial units and agricultural underpasses.
Eugene Sheehy, associate at Will Rudd Ireland, said: “Kevin’s appointment reflects the strong momentum we’re seeing across our Irish operations. His specialist knowledge in water and flooding engineering strengthens our capability and supports our commitment to delivering high quality results for clients.”
Donlon said: “It’s great to join Will Rudd at a time of real growth and opportunity. I’m already enjoying working with clients across Ireland and contributing to projects where expert civil engineering advice can make a real difference.”
