Women in BIM has appointed Michele Tenedini as its new regional lead coordinator for South America.

Tenedini, who is the founder of BIMGreen Solutions – a technology consultancy offering support in BIM and sustainable building practices based in Brazil – says she is passionate about technology and strives to help her clients discover new digital tools to apply to architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) by integrating them with the procedures, programs and standards they already use.

Women in BIM is a global online community with a vision to support, empower, and celebrate female BIM and digital construction professionals.

Background

Tenedini began her career working in the commercial and marketing areas of the AEC industry.

After graduating in architecture, she went on to work in the creation and execution of small-scale residential and corporate architectural projects with a focus on technology and sustainability.

In 2017, she undertook a postgraduate degree in BIM and subsequently a master’s degree in BIM process and sustainability.

Tenedini was invited to join the Brazilian Chamber of BIM, where she has served as vice president of articulation since 2019.

She is currently a candidate for a doctorate in computer engineering.
