Heat exchange technology firm, Güntner Group has appointed Yan Evans as managing director of its global data centre business.
A Chartered Engineer, Evans joins Güntner Group from FläktGroup, one of Europe’s largest HVAC companies. He built and led FläktGroup’s global data centre operations from 2018 to 2025, delivering exceptional business growth across EMEA, AMER and APAC regions.
In his new role, Evans will lead data centre activities across the Güntner Group portfolio, working across Güntner and JAEGGI brands, which are trusted by hyperscalers worldwide for high-performance cooling solutions.
The role brings together data centre expertise across the group’s brands under a unified leadership structure. Working closely with regional leadership, he will support the continued expansion of the business in key global markets and deepen partnerships with data centre operators and hyperscalers globally, as demand for digital infrastructure continues to accelerate.
