Perega has consolidated its Waterloo and Leytonstone operations into a single central London office to pursue growth in healthcare and infrastructure.

The move responds to shifting dynamics in the capital’s construction market. London’s construction output is forecast to grow by around 10% in 2026, with tender activity remaining high. Healthcare construction starts in the city rose 29% year-on-year in 2025, with steady activity expected to continue.

The former Leytonstone team has an established track record in the healthcare sector, with long-term relationships with NHS trusts including Barts Health NHS Trust and Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. That work has historically been concentrated in East London; the move to Lower Marsh gives the team access to NHS trusts across the capital.

The civil and structural engineering firm holds places on three London procurement frameworks: the QTS framework with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, the London Construction Programme DPS, and the London Procurement Partnership DPS.

The combined team operates across the healthcare, education, retail and residential sectors. Mark Goddard, technical director, and Ewa Ambrosius, operations director, remain part of the senior management team as the offices integrate.

Fraser Robb, managing director at Perega, said: “The London construction market remains busy and continues to maintain a steady level of activity. Clients are under real pressure to move projects forward and they need engineers who know the city, know the sectors and can work together collaboratively.

“Having our London teams in one place makes us more efficient. It means faster decisions, improved communication and a more joined-up service for the people we work with. We have been growing steadily in London for a few years now and this is the right time to consolidate the teams, bringing varying skillsets together to take the team from strength to strength.”

Ewa Ambrosius, operations director at Perega, said: “Bringing our two London teams together in one office is an exciting milestone. It creates a more collaborative environment and gives us a fantastic base from which to strengthen relationships with clients and pursue new opportunities across the capital. We’re also looking forward to becoming part of such a vibrant area and discovering the hidden gems Lambeth has to offer after work.”
