UK Construction Week (UKCW) Birmingham will host a new Futurebuild Innovation Showcase at the NEC, featuring exhibitors selected for built environment innovation.
The showcase, launched in partnership with Futurebuild, is new for 2026 and will run across the three-day event, which returns to the NEC at the end of this month (29 September to 1 October). It brings together a curated group of exhibitors presenting products and technologies aimed at the construction and built environment sector.
Exhibitors taking part include Aerobel, Finstral, Jewson Partnership Solutions, VOGO UK, Tetrik, PolyPipe, Tier Conversion Technologies, Vectaire, and Earth4Earth.
Aerobel will showcase Aeroscreed, a waste-based, two-component adhesive and binder system developed for floor screed applications requiring high strength, durability and sustainability. Earth4Earth will present carbon negative bricks and brick slips, which combine waste-derived materials with carbon capture and are said to remove more CO2 than they generate.
Finstral will display its Fin-Window modular window system, which uses a uPVC core produced with 100% green energy. The system incorporates full glass sashes, ceramic inlays and timber internals, and uses more than 60% recycled aluminium, which the company said cuts energy use by up to 95% compared with primary production. Recycled glass used in the system is also said to deliver a 30% reduction in CO2
Jewson Partnership Solutions will showcase home energy storage technology from Anker SOLIX, combining solar storage with energy management software. Tetrik will present its TetrikPod, a modular ground mounting solution designed to reduce labour costs and remove the need for lifting machinery on site. VOGO will exhibit VOKKERO COMPAK, a hands-free communication system for industrial and field teams that allows full-duplex conversation between users.
Martin Hurn, editorial director at UKCW Birmingham, said: “The Futurebuild Innovation Showcase is a fantastic addition to UKCW Birmingham and reflects our shared commitment to put innovation at the heart of the built environment. From low-carbon materials and energy solutions to smarter ways of working on site, the breadth of innovation on display demonstrates the pace at which the industry is evolving.
“Giving these pioneering companies a platform to connect with professionals who are looking to discover new ideas, technologies and products that have the potential to shape the future of construction is exactly what UKCW is all about.”
UKCW Birmingham is sponsored by Barbour ABI, Wyre, HotelPlanner, Zutec and Build Warranty, and will feature over 250 brands, 200 speakers and more than 150 hours of CPD-accredited seminars across four stages. Architect and TV presenter George Clarke, an UKCW ambassador, will officially open the show and host Main Stage discussions on 29 September.
