Scaling AI-driven real estate intelligence platform

by Simon Foulds

Helsinki-based location intelligence company CHAOS has secured €2 million in new funding to support the expansion of its AI-powered platform for real estate investors, developers and retailers. The round includes investment from Nidoco and Finnvera and will enable the company to accelerate its plans across the Nordics and the DACH region.

The funding arrives as demand grows for data-driven decision-making in the real estate and digital construction sectors. As markets become more competitive and capital-intensive, organisations are seeking tools that provide transparent, localised insights for investment and development. According to Teemu Suila, Chair of the Board at CHAOS, the raise reflects confidence in the company’s ability to turn complex market conditions into clear and timely intelligence for users. He emphasised that sharper, location-specific insights now play a central role in securing value and reducing risk.

Founded in 2017, CHAOS develops AI-powered location intelligence solutions to make sense of scattered, fast-changing market data. The platform gathers information on neighbourhood development, population movement, business performance and service availability. It then translates this data into structured insights that help real estate investors, developers, and planners understand where opportunities are emerging and how local areas are evolving.

Digestible data

CEO and co-founder Natalia Rincón-Eriksson said the platform aims to support decision-making that is both commercially sustainable and focused on long-term community needs. By presenting data in a digestible form, the system encourages more efficient investment strategies, improved asset management and better alignment between development activity and resident demand.

CHAOS’s AI capabilities analyse and compare neighbourhoods, highlight local market drivers and provide recommendations tailored to each stage of the asset lifecycle, from acquisition to divestment. Its workflows are designed to reduce manual data gathering and consolidate previously fragmented sources into a single decision-support environment.

With fresh investment and an expanding market presence, CHAOS is positioning itself as a key player in the digital construction and real estate technology landscape. Its focus on AI-driven location intelligence reflects broader sector momentum toward tools that improve forecasting, enhance project viability and support more strategic development across Europe’s real estate markets.
