UKREiiF to deliver industry-wide built environment research

by Simon Foulds

UKREiiF has confirmed a strategic research partnership to strengthen data-led decision-making across the construction sector.

The UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) has appointed Holistic Insight and strategic communications consultancy Holistic as official UKREiiF partners. Together forming the Holistic Group, the organisations will deliver a major industry research project to be launched at UKREiiF 2026, taking place in Leeds from 19–21 May.

The research will capture sentiment from more than 10,000 delegates, supporting UKREiiF’s mission to provide robust market intelligence to the real estate, infrastructure, construction, and digital construction sectors. Building on last year’s work, the 2026 study will introduce expanded qualitative research to explore opportunities and barriers shaping investment and regeneration.

Building on the UK’s largest real estate sentiment survey

Holistic Insight and Holistic previously delivered the largest real estate sentiment survey at UKREiiF 2025, gathering views from investors, developers, public sector leaders, and professional advisers. The 2025 research was shortlisted for Best Use of Research and Customer Insight at the Construction Marketing Awards.

James Bywood, Marketing Director at UKREiiF, said: “Last year’s research was incredibly well received, not least because it represented the largest sentiment survey of its kind. For 2026, we have once again commissioned Holistic Insight to conduct research, this time with more qualitative components, to bring valuable market insights.”

Informing investment, regeneration and digital construction

UKREiiF attracts more than 16,000 attendees and is recognised as the UK’s leading real estate investment and infrastructure event. The forum connects people, places and capital, driving inward investment, economic growth, and more inclusive development across the built environment.

Nathan Spencer, Managing Director at UKREiiF, explained: “UKREiiF attracts the vast majority of decision makers from the private and public sectors, those driving regeneration and development. With this research, we are exploring barriers to be overcome and opportunities that can be harnessed across 2026 and beyond.”

Independent insight for industry-wide impact

Sophie Eastwood, Managing Director of the Holistic Group, added: “For over two decades, we have been unearthing insights that help businesses in the real estate sector make informed business decisions and fuel growth. Undertaking this research at an industry-wide level enables us to tap into views across the development and regeneration ecosystem.”

The research report will be launched and published at UKREiiF 2026. Interested parties can join the distribution list by contacting UKREiiF@holisticgroup.co.uk

By commissioning independent, large-scale insight for UKREiiF 2026, the organisers reinforce their commitment to evidence-based investment, informed regeneration strategies, and measurable progress across the UK built environment.
