Winvic Construction strengthens regional highways delivery through renewed Lincolnshire County Council framework appointment.
Winvic Construction Ltd has secured a further four-year appointment to the Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) Highways Framework, reinforcing its role in delivering critical highways infrastructure projects across the county.
Winvic has been appointed to the General Works Lot, covering projects valued between £1.5 million and £6 million, within a framework totalling £56 million. The Lincolnshire County Council Highways Framework supports the improvement, maintenance and renewal of transport infrastructure, enabling sustained investment in a safe, resilient and well-connected highways network.
Delivering Highways Infrastructure and Social Value in Lincolnshire
The reappointment reflects Winvic’s performance over the previous four-year term, during which it delivered complex highways and civil engineering schemes across Lincolnshire. Operating as main contractor, the business collaborated closely with LCC and regional stakeholders to reduce disruption, improve programme certainty and enhance delivery efficiency.
Alongside technical delivery, Winvic generated measurable social value outcomes aligned with public sector procurement objectives. Initiatives included local SME and VCSE engagement, apprenticeships, career development pathways, STEM outreach, and community volunteering programmes. These measures supported local economic growth and workforce development within Lincolnshire’s infrastructure sector.
Rob Cook, Managing Director for Civils and Infrastructure at Winvic, said: “Being reappointed to the Lincolnshire County Council Highways Works Framework is a testament to the strength of our relationship and the consistent quality of work delivered by our teams across the region. Over the last four years, we’ve successfully completed a number of highways schemes by taking a collaborative, solutions-focused approach and maintaining a clear focus on safety, programme certainty and community impact.
“We’re proud to continue supporting LCC through this new framework term and look forward to building on our regional experience to deliver high-quality, sustainable highways infrastructure that benefits residents, road users and the wider economy.”
This renewed appointment positions Winvic to continue delivering highways framework projects, civil engineering schemes and sustainable transport infrastructure across Lincolnshire, strengthening regional resilience and long-term public value.
