Manchester Property Awards launch at MIPIM

by Simon Foulds

The Manchester Property Awards launch internationally at MIPIM, highlighting Greater Manchester’s growing influence within the UK property market.

The Manchester Property Awards have launched internationally at the MIPIM property conference as a commercial partner of the Invest Manchester delegation. The initiative introduces a dedicated platform celebrating achievement across the Greater Manchester property sector, recognising organisations and individuals contributing to regional property development, regeneration, and investment.

Announced to investors, developers and civic leaders attending the global real estate event, the programme focuses exclusively on the Greater Manchester commercial property market and the people shaping its built environment.

Delivered by UK Business Events Ltd, the organiser behind the Northern Housing Awards and the Building Innovation Awards, the initiative is structured around independent judging, transparent criteria and sector expertise.

Joe Broun, Managing Director of UK Business Events Ltd, said: “Greater Manchester continues to attract global capital, drive large-scale regeneration and lead in urban innovation. Launching the awards at MIPIM reflects that international ambition — positioning the event as the definitive annual recognition of excellence across development, regeneration, investment and professional services in the region.”

Recognising innovation across Greater Manchester’s built environment

The judging panel will include senior property representatives from all ten Greater Manchester borough councils, alongside professionals from architecture, development and investment sectors. This structure ensures entries are evaluated by experts actively involved in the regional property development and regeneration landscape.

Andrew McIntosh, Director of Place at the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, said: “Greater Manchester’s success is built on the strength of the whole city-region, and it’s fantastic to see an awards platform that recognises the people and projects shaping places across all ten boroughs.”

Mike Emmerich, Founding Director at Metro Dynamics,  added: “Manchester’s property market is one of the most dynamic in the country, and it’s right that the innovation, investment and partnerships driving that growth are recognised.”

The inaugural ceremony on 6 November will convene property leaders across the region, highlighting projects, partnerships and investment shaping Greater Manchester’s development pipeline and long-term economic growth.
