Solier named Bouygues Construction CFO

by BDigital_Admin

Clotilde Solier has been appointed chief financial officer (CFO) of Bouygues Construction, succeeding Julien Toqueboeuf, who joins group subsidiary Equans.

Solier took up the role this month and has joined the executive committee led by chief executive Pierre-Eric Saint-André.

Solier said: “Thanks to the experience I have acquired at Bouygues Construction, I have gained a thorough understanding of its business lines and teams, both in France and internationally. In my new role, I will draw on this experience in a position that works closely with operational teams, combining risk management, performance and business development support.”

Solier, 48, has worked across the group’s energies & services, buildings & civil works and telecommunications sectors, in both project and central-function roles.

A graduate of NEOMA Business School, she joined the group in 2002 in the management control department at Bouygues Energies et Services – now part of Equans. She subsequently moved to the financial control department at Bouygues Construction, before joining Axione in 2009 to oversee financial operations for its concessions division.

In 2015, Solier moved to Bouygues Construction’s internal audit department, before taking charge of financial control at Bouygues Bâtiment International in 2018, a period during which she also served as CFO for the USA–Caribbean region. She has been CFO of Bouygues Bâtiment France since 2021, a role in which she consolidated the group’s risk management and financial reporting functions, and increased its use of data to support performance.
