Connect Modular, part of The Wee House Group, has been listed on LHC Procurement Group’s new Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) of New Homes Framework.
The four-year framework, worth £1.2bn, is designed to provide an efficient, value-for-money procurement route for local authorities, social landlords, and other public sector bodies for the development of new-build housing projects and associated works.
Craig Vesey, Business Development manager at Connect Modular, said: “We are delighted to be appointed to the LHC NH3 Framework.
“This is an exciting opportunity for us to work with our clients to deliver affordable housing with all the quality, environmental and programme benefits our volumetric modular process offers.
“We look forward to bringing our collaborative approach to a new set of projects and clients through this framework.”
Connect Modular says the framework will make it easier for clients to work with the company and provides assurance of its capabilities.
The firm says it is “well positioned” to capitalise on the growing demand for modular construction solutions in the UK.
Connect Modular houses are constructed off site in Ayrshire, Scotland, where they are completed to ceiling height and pre-fitted with kitchens, bathrooms, plumbing, and electrics.
The houses are then transported to site and craned into position for the final construction works to be completed.
