Atkins, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, has appointed Donna Huey as chief digital officer for engineering services, US.
Huey has a long-standing and proactive position in the industry with respect to digitally enabled problem solving and client satisfaction, have been with Atkins for the past 29 years.
She most recently served as senior vice president and director of client technology for Atkins North America and president of Atkins’ subsidiary Data Transfer Solutions, LLC.
In these roles she led efforts helping clients maximize value throughout the infrastructure project lifecycle including strategies on acquisition, common data environments, 3D/BIM/CIM and integration with enterprise asset management strategies and systems.
In her new role, she will combine business acumen with technical expertise to support the planning and delivery of transformational client programs that improve decision making through digital insights and innovation, the company said.
“The need for faster adoption and exploitation of digital technologies has reached a critical point for our clients,” said George Nash, Atkins CEO.
“This executive appointment will support and enhance our efforts to not only guide our own delivery efficiencies, but those of our clients as well.”
