Gateley Legal has appointed Jack Kelly as partner in its Birmingham office, strengthening its specialist residential development team in the Midlands.
Kelly brings more than 12 years’ experience to the role, having previously worked at Shakespeare Martineau and Gowling WLG. Throughout his career he has acted for housebuilders, promoters and landowners on residential development matters, covering both immediate land acquisition and strategic land development.
His expertise includes option agreements, conditional and unconditional contracts, promotion agreements, hybrid agreements, collaboration agreements, overage agreements and disposals to registered providers.
He will work alongside Gateley Legal’s Birmingham and Nottingham teams to strengthen the firm’s offering across the Midlands. The appointment follows recent hires in Birmingham – partners Natalie Edwards and Simon Robinson – and the promotion of Lauren Jeffrey to partner in Nottingham.
