Morgan Sindall Infrastructure has announced the appointment of Carole Bardell-Wise as its new Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Director.
Carole joined the company this week and her arrival follows the announcement that its current SHEQ director, Martin Worthington, will retire later this year.
She joins from Crossrail Ltd, where she was health & safety executive, and has previously held similar roles with HS2, Costain and Balfour Beatty over the past 20 years.
Carole will play a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s health and wellbeing, safety, environmental and quality programmes and standards, as well as supporting its commitment to delivering innovative and responsible infrastructure across the UK.
Simon Smith, managing director for Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, said: “I’m delighted that Carole has joined our business.
“Her appointment will continue to drive our performance, adding significant value beyond her functional leadership responsibilities and supporting our imperative to make sure that every one of our colleagues goes home safe and well every day.”
