NBS and sister company Glenigan have teamed up in an effort to help construction manufacturers drive growth.
NBS is the construction sector’s leading specification and product information platforms, while Glenigan is the leading provider of construction sales leads and analysis.
Together, they serve around 6,000 customers.
Both companies fall under the umbrella of the growing Byggfakta Group, one of Europe’s largest construction data providers.
The move aligns two robust and highly powerful data sets that map project activity across the construction timeline.
The partnership says the blend of NBS’ detailed specification and product information and Glenigan’s project information offers manufacturers a “powerful” set of insights, which can help them to increase their exposure and improve the way they target their products.
Under the partnership, the two organisations will initially collaborate to develop their offering to new and existing customers and explore opportunities for data integration.
To support the announcement, and share more information about the partnership, the two brands will jointly host a webinar for manufacturers – ‘How the NBS & Glenigan partnership helps manufacturers’ – on 9 June, which will be available to view on the NBS website thereafter.
‘Insight at all stages’
Commenting on the agreement, Colin Smith, executive chair of NBS, said: “This partnership represents a milestone for NBS, Glenigan and the wider Byggfakta Group.
“It’s a new bond between our businesses which will give manufacturers even greater exposure to construction projects.
“From early-phase design and specification, through to planning and into construction, our clients can gain access to insight at all stages in the timeline.
“This will also offer manufacturers improved forecasting to support with demand planning.”
He added: “Our initial focus will be on developing our joint offering to manufacturers. We’ll be demonstrating how to harness Glenigan’s accurate project lead insight data, together with the NBS specification and product information, to help manufacturers drive sales and identify nascent business opportunities.”
Glenigan CEO Victoria McEwen said: “This collaboration marks an exciting time for both companies, mutually strengthening our platforms and improving customer experience across the board.
“The quality of our sales lead data is second to none, and it’s an area we pride ourselves in.
“For our own userbase, it will be great to take advantage of NBS’ extensive ability to reach specifiers, giving them an additional level of insight they previously didn’t have access to.”
