Delta, a specialist in power management and smart green solutions, is building a new energy-efficient, smart, and sustainable regional headquarters in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. Located in the renowned Park 20|20 business campus.
Scheduled for completion by the end of 2026, this state-of-the-art, 9,300-sqm facility is designed by MVSA Architects and developed in partnership with G&S&.
The building will offer over 350 modern workspaces across five floors, hosting Delta’s teams in R&D, business development, management, and other key functions, further strengthening the company’s regional capabilities and customer support network throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
A flagship of sustainable innovation
This new regional headquarters embodies the company’s commitment to net-zero energy consumption. Featuring approximately 715 solar panels on the rooftop, the building is expected to generate more than 335,500 kWh of renewable electricity annually—enough to meet its estimated energy demand. The facility is also connected to Park 20|20’s central geothermal heat pump system and integrates Delta’s own Energy Storage System (ESS), further enhancing its energy resilience.
In line with Delta’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) values, the building targets the prestigious BREEAM-Outstanding green building certification, reflecting best-in-class sustainability practices in design, construction, and operation.
Smart design for employee well-being and collaboration
The new facility has been thoughtfully designed to inspire collaboration and creativity. A five-story atrium will draw natural light deep into the heart of the building, while a mix of high-tech meeting spaces, R&D labs, and relaxation areas will support innovation and well-being. A dedicated showroom will showcase Delta’s latest technological advancements, and a climate ceiling system will ensure comfortable, draught-free heating and cooling throughout the year.
In support of low-carbon mobility, the underground parking garage will include 126 parking spaces equipped with Delta electric vehicle (EV) chargers, making clean transportation accessible for employees and visitors alike.
Strategic location with regional and national support
Delta’s choice of Hoofddorp as the location for its EMEA headquarters is both strategic and symbolic. Situated near Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, the site offers unparalleled access to European markets, customers, and partners. Park 20|20’s strong emphasis on the circular economy and sustainable urban development aligns seamlessly with Delta’s corporate mission.
With the construction of this new green building, Delta reaffirms its position as a sustainability leader in the EMEA region. The facility will serve as a central hub for advancing energy-efficient solutions, nurturing innovation, and driving meaningful progress toward a smart, low-carbon future.
