Ramboll has appointed Eva Kienle as its new chief financial officer (CFO) and member of the group executive board; she will take up the role in February 2025.
Kienle brings almost 20 years of board level and senior leadership experience from CFO positions across a broad array of industries. She joins Ramboll from a role as CFO in KWS, a German founded global seed breeding group.
Jens-Peter Saul, Ramboll Group’s chief executive, said: “I am very pleased to welcome Eva Kienle on board the group executive board.
“Eva is an experienced finance executive with an international business background and a broad set of leadership skills. She has a proven record of delivering operational results and successfully leading organisational development that makes me confident that she will have a lot to contribute.
“A sound financial foundation is the prerequisite for further developing Ramboll into a global integrated company with a strong local presence that drives sustainable change for our clients.”
Kienle will report to the group chief executive and be overall responsible for the global finance organisation as well as legal, procurement, and workplace.
She said: “I truly look forward to being part of a company with an inspiring purpose and an impressive portfolio of world class expertise.
“Ramboll has been growing profitably and I look forward to using my experience to help further accelerate this journey together with my new colleagues on the executive board, and with the finance team and other functions.
“I see a strong fit between Ramboll’s values and my own core beliefs which makes this job a perfect match for me.”
Kienle will assume her new position on 1 February 2025.
