Leading the way in sustainable construction tech

by BiD Admin

Qflow, a pioneering construction technology platform, has officially joined the ranks of B Corp-certified companies, making it only the second ConTech platform globally to earn this prestigious status. With a B Impact Score of 100.3, Qflow cements its role as a leader in sustainable construction technology, setting a new benchmark for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards in the built environment.

Qflow secured its certification under B Lab’s newly tightened standards—a more rigorous framework introduced in 2025 to ensure that B Corps don’t just look good on paper, but actively live their impact. The certification assesses companies across five key areas: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. Qflow’s score places it in the top 25% of B Corps worldwide, a powerful endorsement of its commitment to better business.

A major milestone for ESG in construction

This recognition comes at a pivotal time for the construction industry, as major players including Skanska, Morgan Sindall, and Wilmott Dixon face new sustainability disclosure mandates under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). These regulations require companies to report on both their financial and environmental/social impacts, including the increasingly critical Scope 3 emissions, which refer to indirect emissions across the value chain.

For construction firms seeking reliable ESG solutions, Qflow offers more than just software—it delivers actionable sustainability insights that support smarter decision-making. The platform gives contractors real-time visibility into materials delivered on-site, enabling them to reduce waste, improve compliance, and lower carbon emissions. In a recent project with Morgan Sindall, Qflow helped divert 93% of construction waste from landfill, showcasing its measurable impact on sustainability.

Turning sustainability into opportunity

B Corp certification requires a minimum score of 80, with most companies averaging around 90–92. Qflow’s 100.3 result reflects that sustainability isn’t a feature—it’s a foundation. Every decision at Qflow is driven by the goal of building a better, more sustainable future for construction.

As part of its data-driven ethos, Qflow also publishes its own comprehensive carbon report, providing clients and stakeholders with complete transparency on its environmental performance. This commitment ensures that customers working with Qflow are not only improving operational performance but also making a genuine contribution to net-zero goals, particularly around Scope 3 emissions.

A trust mark for responsible construction

Achieving B Corp status is not a marketing label—it’s a legally binding commitment to uphold the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and positive impact. For Qflow’s clients, this means working with a partner that is deeply aligned with their ESG goals, regulatory requirements, and long-term sustainability ambitions.

Brittany Harris, Co-founder and CEO of Qflow, sums it up: “We’re incredibly proud to have achieved B Corp certification. It’s a powerful recognition of how we run our business. At Qflow, sustainability isn’t just about doing less harm—it’s about creating more value and helping our customers to do the same.

“Companies that view ESG as a driver of innovation, talent attraction, and brand strength will lead their industries into the future. This certification reflects our belief that doing the right thing for people and the planet is what drives long-term business success.”

With B Corp certification now in place, Qflow is more committed than ever to measuring, reporting, and improving its impact—and empowering construction firms to do the same. As regulatory pressures grow and green building practices become the norm, Qflow is positioned as a trusted partner for companies aiming to lead the charge toward a more responsible construction sector.
