UK Construction Week (UKCW) Birmingham has launched a podcast series, Press RESET, ahead of its three-day show at the NEC.

Hosted by Martin Hurn, UKCW Birmingham editorial director, the series will release two episodes a week in the run-up to the event, which takes place from 29 September to 1 October.

All guests featured on Press RESET are also due to speak at UKCW Birmingham. The first four episodes are now available, featuring:

  • Matt Mahony, policy and public affairs manager, Construction Industry Council (CIC)
  • Rashida Rajgotwala, co-chair of the National Association of Women in Construction for the Midlands
  • Jade Lewis, chief executive, Jade Advocacy
  • Meghan Davies, co-founder, Cammina

Hurn said: “Press RESET is about creating the conversations our industry needs right now. Construction is facing significant challenges, but there are also huge opportunities to do things differently.

“By bringing together people with fresh perspectives and practical experience, we want to look beyond the problems, challenge established thinking and explore what real solutions could look like. These are conversations designed not just to inform, but to inspire action.”

UKCW Birmingham is sponsored by Barbour ABI, Wyre, HotelPlanner, Zutec, Build Warranty and SolarEdge. The show will feature more than 200 brands and 200 speakers, alongside over 150 hours of CPD-accredited seminars across four stages.

Architect and television presenter George Clarke, a UKCW ambassador, will open the show and host discussions on the Construction Reset Stage on the opening day, 29 September.
